An existing office suite was transformed into this new outpatient facility which uses hyperbaric oxygen therapy for patients suffering from complications of diabetes, vascular disorders, or serious trauma. The hyperbaric chamber space is designed for 4 chambers, 2 are currently installed and 2 will be purchased and installed in the future. Muted colors provide and calm atmosphere for patients, and natural materials help bring a warm and beach-like feel to the space.

Key design parameters included:

• Reviewing existing building structure and coordinating design to accommodate new hyperbaric chambers locations

• Providing ceiling lifts within all spaces

• Designing facility to accommodate bariatric patients
