To support the continued growth of its Family Medicine Residency program and address increasing demand for primary care, Beebe Healthcare has established a new outpatient clinic in Long Neck, Delaware. Located in one of the fastest-growing areas of Sussex County, the newly constructed facility is designed to serve a culturally diverse community while providing an expanded setting for resident physician training.

This two-story facility was designed with a focus on flexibility, accessibility, and patient-centered care. The layout features an efficient flow that separates public and staff circulation, minimizing patient wait times and maximizing provider efficiency. The building includes multiple exam rooms, procedure rooms, and dedicated spaces for women’s health services, as well as team workrooms to promote collaboration and teaching among residents and faculty. Its thoughtful design prioritizes both patient comfort and clinical efficiency, ensuring a welcoming environment for the community and an ideal training ground for future healthcare providers.

Large windows in public spaces and staff areas create a welcoming, calm atmosphere. Durable, low-maintenance materials were selected for both exterior and interior finishes, supporting long-term sustainability and ease of upkeep in a high-traffic environment.

The project complements Beebe’s recent renovation of the Shaw Building in Lewes, home to the R. Randall Rollins Center for Medical Education. Together, these two facilities represent Beebe’s strategic investment in expanding access to care and strengthening its commitment to medical education in southern Delaware.
