With the goal of expanding and improving the Station 13 facility and of creating a strong civic presence in the community, this project provides a new fire service wing and significant renovations to the existing engine room, small banquet hall and support wing, and to the lobby of the museum. Related site improvements also enhance the safety and operation of the facility. The plan allowed for a phased implementation of improvements that assured continuous and unimpeded services of the fire company during construction.
