Anthony N. Fusco, Sr. Athletic Center
A new light-filled, two-story Fitness Center addition anchors the improvements to the school’s athletics wing. The addition echoes and complements the recent science center addition at the opposite corner of the building. The entire athletics wing interior is renovated to reflect the significant evolution of the physical education and team programs. Improvements include seven distinct locker rooms for various student, team, faculty and alumni uses. Offices for athletics faculty and trainers are centrally located. A column-free multipurpose room will provide flexibility, including phys ed and wrestling practice uses. A college-style lecture room completes the plan, and will accommodate team meetings and the general school population. The main athletic corridor is lined with team display cases to highlight the history and tradition of the school as the athletics programs start their second century.
