As part of its master plan, Vision 2000, Beebe Medical Center needed a new ambulatory care building with its own identity. Requirements included ease of access from an existing parking structure and provision for future expansion of Surgery and Oncology. Separation of circulation paths for inpatients and outpatients was a high priority. Immediate patient recognition at the entry into each outpatient department was also important. Easy access is provided for both groups, while cross traffic is avoided.
