Building Area: 290,000 square feet
ABHA, in association with Maryland architect Hord Coplan Macht, is designing the new Dover High School in Dover, Delaware. The 1,800 student, 290,000 square foot project for the Capital School District will include a 3-story academic wing, a large common dining space, a 900-seat theater, a 2,500-seat multipurpose gymnasium, a 5,000-seat main stadium complex, and eight tennis courts. In addition, the design will feature a significant emphasis on the use of natural light and the creation of meaningful outdoor learning environments.
